As I lay myself to sleep and my soul to rest, I ponder upon what I am grateful for today. I stepped outside the door today and peeked down the balcony. I saw it there, parked as I had left it a few days ago. My car. My car that serves as transport as well as storage space still housing a few unpacked boxes from the move. It is not a new car, but it is my car. It takes me to the store. It allows me to take my G-kidz to the park. It takes me to the library and to Church on Sundays when I do go. Next week it will take me to work. It will take me to my new job. I stand there thinking it needs a bath...badly. I think I should take care of it more often. Lately, it's been neglected. I already made plans to have its oil change tomorrow morning.
As I lay myself to sleep and my soul to rest, I ponder upon what I am grateful for today. I smile and realize, today, I am grateful for my car. I giggle and think to myself "how funny is that!"

Have you ever been grateful for your car?
How so?
Tootles!
It's great that you can see gratitude anywhere and in anything. It's a lovely quality.
