30 Days Grateful: Day 24 - No Fallen Fingers

As I lay my head to rest and my soul to sleep, I ponder upon what I am grateful for today.  Earlier today I went to the library to return 3 books that were long overdue.  I went with my eldest G-kid and as we walked back to my car she reminded me to look among the boxes, still in my car, for a certain black and white zebra bag that I've been looking for.  It is a bag I use to hold books.  I searched the boxes but did not find the bag.  Instead I found a box full of my journals. I have a ton of journals. They hold years of written thoughts, experiences and challenges. I couldn't believe I had written so many journals. It's a wonder I have no fallen fingers from so much writing.  I felt a sense of pride.  These journals hold years of my life in their pages.  They hold my written life.  They hold my writing.  My writing.

As I lay my head to rest and my soul to sleep, I ponder upon what I am grateful for today...I am grateful for the ability and passion to voice my thoughts into words.  Today I am grateful for my writing.

Do tell what you are grateful for today.

Tootles!
