Soul Food Monday!

Every morning as soon as I open my eyes I give thanks for yet another day of life!  I process positive thoughts in my mind of how great my day will be.  I feel the love I have for my family, friends and myself.  I give a moment of silence for those who may find themselves in despair.  But, sometimes it does get challenging to maintain the excitement for a great day for a number of reasons.  Perhaps dealing with the emotions of frustration of being unemployed, dealing with health issues, hectic juggling of school/job or even the transitions of settling in a new place after taking a big step of relocating.  There could be a number of different reason that can damper the excitement of staring off a great day.  At the end, whatever the reason may be, it doesn't really matter, what matters is what we do next after recognizing, acknowledging and embracing those emotions.  Do we sulk, marinate and dwell on the negative or do we choose to focus on the positive aspects of starting our day filled with excitement of how great it's going to be?

Hola Readers!  Hope this morning everyone is having a great rise along with a BIG appetite for life where ever in the world you may find yourself today. A life filled with excitement and prosperity!  Here is this weeks food for the soul.  This message is also from the book I am presently reading...The Power.

Sometime it is easier said than done.  But the power is in us!  Just believe it!  I believe it and no matter how challenging it may seem, this week, I will focus on affirming that I do deserve and am worthy of everyday being a great day!  This week I will consciously and purposely laugh and giggle more along the day no matter how silly it may seem!  After all, laughter is good for the soul!  Will you join me this week too?

Wishing everyone a magical Monday and a week full of laughter and excitement!

Please keep coming back for more Soul Food Monday!  Where you can feed your soul and start your week with a great and positive outlook!

Tootles!

  1. You know, I was looking at some sea gulls today while at my internship and I was just thinking "Man, they have it easy".

But in all reality, humans are the only species that make things complicated. Animals and plants and microbes just nourish themselves and reproduce! What a life!! They don't have to worry about trivial things like money or technology, they just try to make every day great and survive.

    Wow, hello tangent ;D

    Have a great day!!
