25 Things Fat People Shouldn't Do: Run!

"25 Things Fat People Shouldn't Do is an unabashed middle finger to the preposterous idea that any human who weighs more than the status quo does not deserve to live a full and well rounded (ahem) life. The list of 25 is composed word for word from direct lists of sheer assholery found on the Internet. These range from the absurd to the profoundly shameful, and I will be disproving this offensive notion with style. Feel free to join in on the fun, and if you do, link at the bottom so I can share.  Naturally, being of a curious and strong-willed nature, I decided to Strut My Walk like only I can! 


I love running.  Up until a couple of years ago, I was running 6 miles everyday.  Yep, you heard me right.  I would run 6 miles a day and I loved it!  These day, I tend to walk more than run.  I really miss it.  Last year, I even completed my first ever 5k marathon benefiting Breast Cancer Awareness. 

Anyhoo, I was ready for this challenge.  As usual I will let the pictures do all the talking...

 I really, really, really enjoyed my run.  I am grateful for my legs and am looking forward to many more walks or runs around the park!  Didn't realize how much I miss it.   Do you enjoy walking or running?

  1. great pictures! you look so happy. I run, but I can't quite bring myself to say I'm a runner or that I like it. I skipped my run today. oops.

  6. Oh as a fat girl I LLLOVE this! I actually love running, but I prefer to mine on the elliptical because it's easier for my knees and there's less...ahem..bounce ;) Someday I would love to be one of those women who walks out her front door and then runs throughout her town. That one of my big goals :)

  8. You go girl! Drives me bananas when people judge people on appearance....growl!!!!!!! It's downright rude. I live by the saying...Judging me reveals your character, not mine.

    I love to run too. Although, I need it cool to run and Houston has been HOT lately...87 yesterday!

  9. Bravo, Mayra! Way to go! I'm Proud of you! I got to get off my butt and start exercising as well. I used to be a dance aerobics instructor (some 100 years B.C.) but now I'm just a walker and if you see this body you'll probably think that I just lied to you about the dance aerobics instructor. Nothing on me gives it away! Oh! I really need to start exercising!!!
