The Versatile Award, Oh My!

My heartfelt thanks to Smita of Purple Moments who nominated me for The Versatile Blogger Award.  It is so awesome to know that there are readers out there who read your posts and appreciate you for it.   So a special thanks to Smita, a special blog sphere friend from India who is a computer teacher, homemaker and now a blogger.  She has a beautiful website where she shares her views on make-up, product reviews, cooking, traveling and photography.  At the moment she is hosting Purple Moments First giveaway - 75+ followers celebration!  Congratulations Smita!  I appreciate YOU!
Okay, let's get-a-steppin' with the rules.  Yes, there are rules that apply for accepting the award.  It's not just receive and bam-bam-thank-you-mam.  There is some fun involved and it starts with the rules which I already may have broken by personlizing the award with butterflies!  Hope they don't send the blogger security over to spank me unless of course its The Rock or Vin Diesel.

Rules for The Versatile Blogger Award:

  1. Thank the Blogger who nominated you.
  2. Include a link to their site.
  3. Include the award image in your post.
  4. Give 7 random facts about yourself.
  5. Nominate 15 other Bloggers for the award.
  6. When nominating, include a link to their site.
  7. Let other Bloggers know they have been nominated.
Seven Random Facts about myself:
  1. It's Saturday morning, I'm going home to Miami tomorrow and I haven't even started packing.
  2. I tend to burp (obliviously) when I get anxious or worried . (just noticed I was doing it now)
  3. I used to collect porcelain dolls and music boxes, but now I am starting to collect bird figurines. My Mother used to love birds and had quite a few wall hanging of birds.
  4. I have 2-way conversations with myself which sometimes excalate into arguments.
  5. I'll never get tired or ashamed of confessing that Betty Boop is my all time fave Diva!
  6. I am a fighter and a lover.
  7. I'm thinking of getting 3 more tattoos!
My nominees for The Versatile Award:

Meg of Miles from Ordinary - a beautiful girl with a camera and head full of ideas. She's read the Harry Potter series and wants to travel route 66.  She lists James Taylor on her Concert Bucket List and I want her to take me with her when she goes. How's about it Meg????

Anna of Geek Can Be Chic - an obsessed girl with all things girly and vintage blogging about fashion, photography, beauty and her life.  She is very passionate about her blog and is always working hard to attain the goals she wants to accomplish.

Stephanie of Bassability - a gorgeous musician, teacher with a beautiful singing voice.  A Jill-of-all-trades who ceases to amaze me with her DIY projects!  From baking crackers to making fake washi tape. Her most recent project is a deer head made out of foam!  She is also a talented singer, thrift store wanderer, feminist, coffee addict and a bibliophile.

Katrice of Simply Katrice - a gorgeous and proud mom of 2 little girls better known as the Divas. Although motherhood is of utmost important to her, it does not define who she is therefore she does not consider her blog the typical "mommy blog".  She shares her views on everything she loves whether it be music, movies, fashion, make up or just random things she learns along the way.

Refine of Refinehere's - a colorful lovely lady from Singapore who considers herself a social media junkie.  She loves blogging about photography, travel, fashion, recipes, Singapore, Movie and Music and so much more.  She has a very interesting shop she calls Society6 involving artwork.

Jennifer of Grits and Moxie - a beautiful and unique southern gal who does not consider herself traditional at all.  An advocate for animal rights, equality and positive change. Learning to play the saw and riding a mattress down a flight of stairs are among her lists of 100 things she'd like to do before 40.  She also wants to learn Spanish. Hola Jennifer, yo hablo espanol ;)

Sarajan of Flea Chic - considers herself a sassy Southern woman "of a certain age" (LOVE it) who collects recipes but can't cook, views herself as a decent writer.  She has a passion for the antiquated, the faded and the previously cherished.  A DIY with bargain hunting and re-purposing everyday items in novel and unique ways.  Intentionally reduces waste through the use of vintage items.

Sarah of A Cat-Like Curiosity - a down-to-earth curious minded lovely lady and special friend from the UK.  She enjoys writing about living a curious life always looking for new things to try, new ways to look at life and new goals to achieve.  A very talented lady indeed featuring her artwork, E-books and so much more in both her stores: Storenvy and Etsy all handmade.

Mia of Mia Moore - a beautiful girl studying digital marketing and has a passion for wearing fun things, feminism and making everything around her a little cuter.  Mia writes about her daily outfits, adventures and all else in between.  She wears a cute outfit everyday as a form of self-expression and as a way to brighten her day. She also features DIY projects and enjoys making costumes and hoop dancing on her spare time.

Congratulations lovely ladies!  There you have it the nominees I have chosen for The Versatile Award.  I wish I had more time, but I am flying back home to Miami tomorrow and time is critical at this point.  However, rest assured that all these lovely ladies are well deserving and well worth getting to know.  So I encourage you to pay them a visit and show them some love and support.  As always it is always a pleasure when you stop by.  Thank you!

Tootles!
