Sweet Scent of Love at "Suite 300"

I love flowers! And I know I've said this before, but I'm gonna say it again.  It is always heart-warming to receive flowers, especially when its a surprise!  It was always a pleasant surprise when my girls (when they were little) would bring me a flower they'd pick from the garden after a tired day of playing outside.  They did this often enough you'd think I grow out of the element of surprise.  But, I honestly have to say it was always warming to the heart each and every time.  After a while, they weren't little girls anymore and started liking boys more than mommy, so the flowers stopped.  Why do they have to grow and like boys more than mommy anyway?  Now that I think about it, it doesn't seem fair at all.  After carrying them for 9 long months, they should owe us flowers for life!  I'm just kidding.  I'm just missing them.  So as I was saying, I love flowers and today, once again, there was the sweet scent of love at Suite 300.  No, it wasn't me who was surprised with flowers, but I did share in the surprise...in her surprise!

Most everyone at work probably already knows by now that I always have my camera ready and available to catch those special moments that may arise.  So yesterday as I returned from lunch and entered the huge room housing the cubicles at Suite 300, a co-worker calls-out "Do you have your camera?"  And of course I did.  "Just wait to you get to your desk." she added.  As I made my way thru the maze, I wondered what could it be.  As I got nearer my eyes widened in excitement at the sight of the beautiful colorful bouquet of flowers!  Jana was in awe with her flowers!  She was telling me how she was called to the front office...
Jana
Me:  "So tell me Jana, what was on your mind or what were you expecting when you were called up to the front office?"  I asked.

Jana:  "I thought there was someone here to ask me more questions about my "accident" this morning." she answered. (that's a whole different kinda story she wished not to comment on)

Me:   "Well, tell me what did you find when you reached the front office?"

Jana:  "I had a large bouquet of flowers waiting for me."

Me:  "Wow! Were you surprised?"

Jana:  Really surprised! she said with a big smile.

Me:   "How exciting! How did you feel the moment you first set eyes on your flowers?

Jana:  "Smiling inside and out" she said as she floated in air.

Me:   "Who sent you the flowers?"

Jana:  "I knew right away that it was my husband, because he always has very good taste in the flowers he sends me."  she proudly stated.

Awwww, look at that smile he put on her face!

Me:   "Any reason or occasion for the flowers?"

Jana:  "He sent them for Mother's Day, even though I didn't bear any of his children." she giggled.

Me:   "How long have you been married to this wonderful and thoughtful man?

Jana:  "2-1/2 awesome years." she said with a sparkle in her eyes.

Me:   "Is this the first time you receive flowers from your husband?"  I kept prying ;)

Jana:  "Oh no! He sends them for the off days when I would never expect them."

Me:   "Hmmm, so tell me Jana, do you have anything special planned as a 'token' of gratitude for  hubby Mr Wonderful?  I slyly asked.

Jana:  "No, but I will let the heart lead me there."  she answered winking her eye.

Awwww...the Sweet Scent of Love!  Thank you Jana for sharing it!
